JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Sarment’s Sales Assistant in Chengdu, the position holder will be active in the Sarment Chengdu store operations and provide sales support for the enhancement of Sarment’s sales growth in the Chengdu area and in Greater China.

S/he will be part of the Sarment Chengdu store team, support the store’s opening/operations and be proactive in implementing the company’s sales strategies.

S/he will report to the Sales Manager and work cooperatively with the Store Managers, Sommeliers, marketing team, logistics team and other team members for the fast development of the company’s business in the Chengdu area.

Team work and trans-regional collaboration with the marketing, sales, finance and HR teams in the other cities where the company is active are a must.

The position will entail the following responsibilities:
Contribute to the launch and operation of the Sarment Chengdu store;
Contribute to the sales of wine apparel and services such as wine tasting, etc.;
Proactively conclude sales based on the company strategy for customer development;
Work with sales managers, store managers, sommeliers and the marketing team to organise/manage events and promotions as well as memberships;
Provide administrative support on orders, sales reports, phone queries, wine deliveries, etc. according to Sarment guidelines and timelines;
Contribute to other tasks that the Sarment team may request for efficient store operation and business development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in wine, F&B or luxury
Well-organized and responsible
Sales-driven personality
Good negotiation skills
Team spirit
Good English & Chinese
Basic computer skills
Wine knowledge is a plus but interest in wine is a must
Luxury, F&B, wine industry sales experience is a plus
