An employee in this position will primarily be responsible for

1. Architecting the integration of Conexant’s state of the art audio algorithms into Android and Linux platforms
2. Implementation of audio and voice processing in Android and Linux
3.Resolve customer implementation and performance issues
4.Provide feedback and develop suggestions for future product enhancements or improvements
5. Assigning tasks and leading/motivating a group of Engineers working on the project

Job Requirements

Must to have:
1. B.S./M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
2. Minimum 4 years of extensive Android development experience
3. 6+ years of software development experience
4. Expert knowledge of Android audio processing
5. Expert knowledge of the Advance Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA)
6. Strong hands-on architecture and design skills
7. Strong C programming skills
8. Deep understanding of Linux audio processing
9. Practical experience with implementing or modifying audio processing in Android or Linux systems
10.Practical experience with feature definition and Android API design
11.Practical experience with customer and developer support
12.Proficient in basic audio DSP concepts
13.Ability to lead technical discussions and customer engagements
14.Highly motivated individual and team Leader
15.Excellent English Verbal and Written communication skills
16.Willing to work closely with remote teams

Nice to have:
1.Practical experience with sound enhancement algorithms
2.Practical experience with testing audio system performance
3.Practical experience with Continuous Integration and CI systems such as Jenkins
4. Practical experience working with hardware OEM/ODM
