Active Network, the leading provider of online registrations in the world, is seeking a highly talented product development manager to join its Development team. In this role you will be responsible for managing a distributed team of software engineers building the next-generation application platform for the company. The system must be highly scalable, provide low latency for transaction processing functions, and deliver a high degree of configurability to clients. The projects you deliver will be critical to the overall success of Active Network.

Job Responsibilities:

· Lead China produce team to deliver product release

· Work with product manager, project manager to coordinate the project planning, execution and risk management

· Work with development team to review design and drive the technical solutions.

· Grow team members to advance in their job levels towards expertise

· Grow team leadership in the team and build sufficient second in commands for leadership succession plan;

· Manage team with support from HR team, conduct performance review and take full responsibilities for team management and growth.

· Work closely with team leads at China and North America team to manage project progress and clear path for leads upon blocker issues like communication disconnection or dev technical issues or scrum meeting efficiency.

Qualifications

· Successful management of at least 5 people for at least 2 years

· Management of web-based, software as a service product, ideally a high-transaction system

· Strong written, verbal, presentation and persuasion skills

· Excellent analytical ability

· Understanding of different software development methodologies-eg Agile, Waterfall, XP

· Proficiency in general programming concepts and specifically web technologies.

· Management of offshore people and projects
