Position: Technical Support Engineer
Department: Service & Technical
Purpose of position: to provide the technical support and solution 1st & 2nd level to meet the company business development in China
Direct report (position): the responsible supervisor or manager

Main job responsibility (No.):
1)Assist Sales Engineers to select or replace product types, and support product testing in sales;
2)Provide replies to technical inquiries from customers(help desk);
3)Provide on-site technical service to customers, including pre-sale products demos, training and after-sale services ( installation, commissioning, troubleshooting , certificate check and etc);
4)Responsible for inspection of products quality and analyze defects;
5)Responsible to design and make products demos and inspection facilities; Assist in the exhibition demos
6)Provide internal /external technical trainings
7)Responsible for translation of products specifications and other techincal informations; issue of the technical-related documents
8)Technical escalation (1st to 2nd level, 2nd level to HQ AG)
9)Develop customer-facing documentation for SICK website on an as-needed basis.
10)Co-work with other colleagues to achieve the team's goals whenever needed
11)Develop a deep understanding of the application
12)Issue the application & service report, quality report , failure report

Job requirement:
1)Bachelor or above of related science (automation, engineering, electronics);
2)At least 2 years technical experience in the revelant industry;Knowledge and experience of machinery control system /PLC / Bus would be a great advantage

3)Good English reading , written , oral , listening skills(CET 4 is the least) ; good command in Excel, Word , Windows operation and Power Point;
4)Technical know-how, customer/result -oriented,self-motivated, with strong communication skill and problem-solving skill.
5) Conscientious, responsible, self-motivated, adaptability,Integrity.
