Role Purpose:

The Group Surveys team has been established to ensure the group focuses services on the needs of its customers, both internal and external.

A major part of this role is to ensure that all functional units across the organisation are provided with regular customer feedback that is consistent, reliable and actionable.

The Senior Consultant will be required build relationships across the business, developing business knowledge about Group Surveys and the service it provides. They will be required to support Group Surveys strategy and will drive operational initiatives aligned with these strategies.

The role will be responsible for conducting end to end market research providing consultation with clients, research design, fieldwork, analysis and reporting/insights, that align with clients objective.

It is expected that the role will support the team by helping to develop a strong analytical culture based on proven Market Research principals and practices.

Accountabilities:
Financial:
Manage budgeting & forecasting requirements for provision of service to achieve:
- Accurate and transparent quoting of job costs to customers
- Costs contained to estimates
- Full cost recovery of services provided

Customer:
Develop key relationships, to promote the services of Group Surveys
- Provide "centre of excellence" consultation on customer measurement, analysis and reporting.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of customer's business and their requirements with particular focus upon ANZ's strategic initiatives which may directly impact customer decision making/objectives.
- Effectively demonstrate to customers' previous learning's and experiences, with particular focus upon benchmarking and use of normative data.
- Follow up clients to learn about implementation of changes resulting from the research

Process:
- Ensure all Group Surveys processes are adhered to with a focus upon quality of output and ensuring data integrity is maintained.
- Ensure that work being conducted is appropriate for the level of senior consultant. All other work should be distributed to other resources or to another team.
- Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and that report is able to answer key questions and provide insights

People:
- Manage analysts with regard to survey consultancy, design and recommendations
- Managing the provision of services to the group and ensuring that the team achieves both business and financial targets
- Identifying process/product improvements along with delivering upon team projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Risk and Compliance:
- Manage and operate systems securely to protect our customers and staff
Ensure all legal and risk considerations are factored in to any external customer research.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years market research agency or related experiences as a research manager or consultant.
- Detailed understanding of quantitative market research methodologies (multivariate analysis, conjoint, statistical testing) and how to apply them.
- Ability to influence senior management both in terms of the need for research as wells as the application of its findings.
- Ability to operate remotely (manager based in Australia) and be self motivated.
- High level of relationship building and influencing skills.
- Desired skills in Excel and SPSS.
- Bachelors and above degree with focus upon statistics.
