职位描述
The BDM’s prime responsibility is to identify and secure new clients from multinational companies, develop and maintain long-term business relationships with the clients. Experience in the Localization/Translation industry is a must.
Responsibilities Include:
? Identify and peruse new business opportunities to generate new revenue from multinational companies typically in Software, Manufacturing, Health & Life Sciences and Automotive industries, etc.
? Create and implement sales strategies and written proposals.
? Drive RFP/RFI processes through cold calling, networking etc.
? Negotiate with the client and ensure the pricing levels to meet a corporate target profit level.
? Work closely with key functional team members in order to pursue and close business opportunities which ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
? Act as an escalation point if a client issue arises.
? Achieve and exceed minimum agreed sales quotas.
? Oversee and manage all sales cycle activities
Skills & Experience
? At least five years of prior experience in successful localization/translation business development with a proven record selling to the high revenue clients.
? Expertise with understanding and articulating technical concepts in areas such as software localization, testing and multilingual publishing.
? Good knowledge and understanding of the localization process and issues.
? Proven ability to interact with people at high levels of an organization.
? Candidate must be highly motivated, ambitious and flexible.
? Effective written and verbal communication skills.
? Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
? Higher business education or closely related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
