Planning Supervisor

BASIC FUNCTION

The planning supervisor directs the operation planning activities including customer order management, master planning, material planning and inventory management. Meanwhile, strong focus to develop SAP applications according to business growth needs.

Operation Manager Material Planner(s) and Master Planner


SPECIFC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan, organize, and administer the finished goods forecast and safety stock levels, to satisfy abroad customer orders, analyze/update various material master data settings in SAP.
2. Coach and supervise Master Production Planner to schedule and monitor daily production planning, ensure the smooth production arrangement cross different manufacturing processes.
3. Manage all procurement relationships and execute procurement plans for required purchased materials to assure material availability.
4. Manage Finished Goods and Raw Material Inventory reduction plan.
5. Report a broad array of information including; delivery performance, inventory levels, materials plans, supplier performance.
6. Provide guidance and direction for materials plans relating to New Product Development efforts, assuring necessary materials are available on a timely basis.
7. Possibly assist indirect purchasing and contractor management with on-time delivery according to business needs.
8. Develop SAP application to satisfy fast growing business requirement.
9. To participate in new projects plan and other operational activities
10. Perform other duties as required or assigned.


STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
1. Customer order delivery – On Time Delivery
2. Material planning – Supplier On Time Delivery
3. Master scheduling – On Time Completion of daily master plan
4. Stock management - Inventory turnover days
5. SAP optimization – Work with IT to improve SAP application level, 90% rely on SAP rather than human adjustment
6. Team development – Strong and passionate team to improve planning performance

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
1. Ideally Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Engineering, college could be considered depends on working experiences.
2. Min. 6 years of related Planning experience and materials management in a Multinational manufacturing environment
3. Must be familiar with SAP
4. Good command of written and oral English

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills.
2. Focus, extremely organized and positive attitude.
3. Able to work with all levels of management.
4. Willing to change and able to change as change agent.
