GENERAL SUMMARY:
Develop and maintain a security market connectivity system for a US based global investment company which enables the trading application to talk with the exchanges or brokers all over the world. Optimize the program to meet the demanding performance requirements.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Duties

? Analyze the requirement specifications and the task descriptions.
? Develop and maintain software in conformity to specifications (requirement, design, and test) that satisfy quality standards.
? Design/implement system independently.
? Status reporting on activities undertaken to upper managers.
? Regularly communicate with English speaking customer for assignment, work progress and technical issues.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Competencies: Skills, knowledge, & abilities
Functional Competencies:
? More than 3 years Experiences in core Java development on Linux platform is a must
? Basic experience in Linux Shell programming
? Strong skills of debugging and bug fixing
? Experiences in C and Perl will be a strong plus
? Understand FIX protocol is a strong plus
? Understand multicast protocol, socket, TCP/IP
? Basic experience of Linux/Unix
? Good knowledge of detailed design skill
? Be aware of software development lifecycle

? Good oral and written English capability is a must
? Good communication (oral & written) and positive attitude
? Interact well with technical teams, business owners and project managers
? Follow direction and keep peers and manager informed of progress, changes and issues
