职位描述
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
1.Responsible for the overall sales strategies and results of a major geographic/continental area, region, or country.
2.Plans and directs all sales activities including planning and implementing forecasts, developing policies as well as staffing and training of the sales force.
3.May have responsibility for the pre-sales function.
4.Establishes short and long term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives. Manages the activities of other sales managers.
5.May also manage the sale of the organization's products or services to specific existing named or strategic accounts.
6.Individual contributors typically do not report to this level.
MANAGER LEVEL:
1.First level of management responsible for budgeting, planning, organizing, integrating, coordinating, and controlling the activities of, typically, a department, section, or functional area.
2.Work may be accomplished through subordinate supervisors or direct management of employees.
3.Accountable for results in terms of costs, budgets, operational goals, and employees.
4.Possess a comprehensive technical knowledge of the function, business, and/or department being managed, along with developing managerial skills necessary to successfully manage a department.
5.Developing an understanding of overall businesses and the industry.
6.Develops resolutions to diverse and complex problems often requiring creativity.
7.Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions.
8.Decisions usually follow established policy and precedents and apply to issues and problems affecting immediate group.
9.Accountable for achieving the annual goals and objectives assigned to the department or section.
10.Goals may be of financial, product or service, and/or human resources nature.
11.Failure to achieve goals and objectives or erroneous judgments and/or decisions could impact the larger organizational goals.
12.Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience in the function or discipline managed, typically including supervisory experience.
