1.Set goals, strategies, success measures, and policy and procedure for the Department to be aligned with the

Division’s and the Department HQ’s strategies and ensure achievement vs. goals
2.Study, check and analyze the impacts of new laws on the Bank’s business operations
3.Provide proactive and valuable legal advice
4.Provide comprehensive legal risk review on new business/products　
5.Monitor and coordinate external counsels on legal matters with optimal cost and to be in line with the Legal

Department HQ’s directions
6.Make independent analysis and judgement on external counsel opinion
7.Coordinate the law firm selection and approval
8.Provide constructive opinion on law firm selection process and decision
9.Coordinate with Legal Department HQ at the frequencies and in connection with the matters to be set by Legal

Department HQ, and give support to Legal Department HQ on the information on the Chinese laws and regulations
10.Prepare or review legal documents or agreements for daily operation and litigation proceedings
11.Represent the Bank to attend meetings with external parties in relation to legal matters
12.Handle court order to inquiry, freeze and transfer customer accounts
13.Provide systematic legal trainings to enhance legal risk awareness of staff
14.Internal and extenal legal reporting
15.Other assignment

Qualification:

Bachelor in law with China lawyer certificate with fluent English
Above 5 years' legal experience in banking, have banking product/business knowledge
