Active Network is seeking senior software QA engineer to work on Active’s key product. In this hands-on and technical position, the individual will be responsible for ensuring the product Active Network provides meets both the functional and non-functional quality requirements. As a senior QA Engineer in Active Network, the individual is expected to:

· Participate in the entire development life cycle including: requirement analysis, driving the testing from planning to completion, designing test cases, testing web service and application, tracking defects with meaningful details, providing root cause analysis and impact analysis and participating code review.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of team/test efficiency

Requirements:

· Experience in Software Quality Assurance methodologies, process and best practices along with strong understanding of current internet application development technology

· Experience in web testing and related technologies/tools

· Detailed knowledge of HTTP protocol, client/server communications, relational database and SQL

· Good requirement analysis and test case design/execution capability

· Knowledge of SOA, web service, XML, Java etc.

· Experience in automated test and framework design and wide knowledge of open source testing tools is a plus

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Certain experience in security testing is plus

· Working experience in Agile/Scrum project is preferred

· Performance test experience is plus

· BS in Computer Science or related field

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
-7-10 years of experience as a QA engineer, with at least 4 of those years testing internet software products
