Job Description:
Newegg.com Marketplace is seeking a qualified Content Specialist to improve and develop the quality of content on Newegg Marketplace. Key responsibilities include working with our content management system to manage manufacturer information, work with third parties to improve their existing content on our website, review content for quality assurance, and resolve content-related issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Research manufacturer information on the Web and other internal sources to establish authoritative information;
2.Research and establish authoritative information for products;
3.Use content management tools to fix or update information;
4.Work with sellers and other third parties to enhance their content on our website;
5.Perform content quality assurance and enhance content for promotional products based on content and website conventions;
6.Assist with mapping product data or product categories;
7.Identify and troubleshoot content/integration-related error messages;
8.Work with sellers to communicate product specific data requirements. Analyze seller data to identify adherence to data; requirements, critical gaps within data sets, and to develop acceptable processes for any data exceptions;
9.Implement QA measures, reports and processes across multiple products and sellers.

Special and Education Requirements:
1.Expert web research skills a must, or solid background/knowledge in a variety of products, particularly in IT/CE (preferred, not required);
2.Previous experience in e-commerce preferred ;
3.Detail-oriented; strong attention to details required;
4.Good proficiency in English;
5.Good communication skills, oral and written ;
6.Solid foundation in Microsoft Excel ;
7.Ability to tolerate rote and repetitive work on a regular basis;
8.Strong problem-solving abilities;
9.Basic knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Suite a huge plus;
10.Previous troubleshooting or Helpdesk experience a plus;
11.Previous data analysis experience and basic knowledge of databases a plus;
12.Previous experience working with e-commerce data or product data attributes a plus;
13.Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in English, including the development of customer reports, proposals, presentations, and training/communications materials.
