Hardware Application engineer of CE device embedded system, which is responsible with supporting Marvell customers to design the STB/NAS/Home gateway products, and provide solutions. The involved areas include schematic and PCB design, product cost analysis, failure analysis, signal quality analysis, and system reliability analysis.

Responsibilities:
Design turn key ready reference hardware platform based on Marvell Soc chipset
Support customer’s schematic & PCB layout review
Develop and implement board test and bring up plans to ensure that the customer prototype designs meet the design requirements.
Work with customer teams to isolate and debug hardware related issues.
Support customer’s design pass industry certifications & meet mass production requirements

Requirements:
A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Electrical Engineering
Good written and oral communications skills in English and Chinese
Solid knowledge and skills in digital and analog circuits design and troubleshooting
Proficient in using EDA tools for schematics and layout design
5+ years experience in embedded hardware design with good understanding of system level design
Familiarity with the latest industry standard & common components, e.g. SATA,PCI-E, USB, HDMI, DDR 2/3/4 memory, Flash memory…
Knowledge of ASIC design and low level software programming is an asset
Experience of high volume production is an asset
You will be expected to travel to customer sites in China as well as some international travels.
