Job Title: Image Quality Anaysis Engineer

Job Description:

APSE is looking for qualified image quality analysis engineers for Android Camera solution. The goal is to analyze and report the image quality level of camera with different supported sensors, including but not limited to do objective/subjective image quality judgment for still capture and preview/recording, help to identify the root cause of quality issues, etc.


Qualifications and Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate should have Bacheler degree in electronic engineering, photoelectronic engineering or related fields.
Have 2+ years of industrial camera quality test experience, either for digital cameras, camera on mobile devices, or image sensors qualification, etc.
Also requires strong communication skills, self motivation, flexibilty and patience, and the ability to work in a team environment.

You need to analyze image quality of camera with different supported sensors on Marvell mobile platform.
You need to be familared with image quality analysis tools like Imatest, DxO Analyzer, etc.
You need to report the quality issues with solid data and evidence support.
You need to assist AE team/FAE team/Customer with image quailty issues as needed.

Requirements:
- BS Engineering, Imaging/Color, and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or Photoelectronic Engineering, and/or related field
- 2+ years of industrial camera quality test experience, either for digital cameras, camera on mobile devices, or image sensors qualification, etc.
- Be familiar with digital image processing algorithms and techniques, as well as image quality metrics, measurement techniques.
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communications skills. May involve customer interactions
- Familiarity with image quality test programs such as Imatest or DXO analyzer is a plus
- Familar with C/C++/Matlab programming is a plus
- Knowledge of embedded or mobile system software a plus
- Working experience on Android and Embedded Linux OS a plus
- Strong communications capability, self motivation, flexibilty and patience, and good team work spirit
