Introduction:
The mission of the QMiP is to act as an expert and support the Project Manager as partner by planning, supervising, ensuring and reporting of appropriate activities with regards to failure prevention and effective proceedings (pro-active and re-active). The QMiP acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement over all PM@Siemens project phases. The QMiP engineer from QA Dept. to support the projects during the development by moderation and support of the implementation and tracking of quality measures, these quality measures are enumerated in the block Tasks.

What are my responsibilities?
- Quality planning and control:
- Planning (QS plan), Validation that all quality measures of the project are mentioned in the planning document;
- Monitoring and documentation of their implementation and efficiency realization, and controlling of quality measures (in agreement with Project Leader).
- Quality standard in project:
- Review processing, organization, and moderation of reviews as well as documentation of review results;
- Integration of the product security experts in the reviews according to the security classification of the product.
- Implementation of Quality Measures:
- Reviews of technical documents like planning document, schematics and programming sources;
- Check of the proper documentation of features, user stories, work packages, structure of the projects, decisions, and milestones;
- Current observation of field problems (memory, quality incidences, supplier), and documentation of equipment sent back;
- Participation in meetings of the quality network of the BU and proliferation of information in the project;
- Participation on audits and their preparation and organization;
- Support on planning of other quality activities (e.g. including Product Security aspects).
- Continuous improvement:
- Participation in EoP meeting / retrospective/team breakfast and derivation of measures for process improvements and of possible improvements during the development.
- Quality management:
- Reporting adherence to process and quality assurance (among others, EoP meeting) face to face with the project leader and the quality management officer (depending on functional assignment), also with the help of metrics;
- Escalation in case of deviation from the process, according to an acceptable tailoring;
- Monitoring that all quality-relevant tasks are done after release and delivery (like archiving).
- Collaboration in project:
- Contribution to phase decisions of milestones: Active agreement or disagreement to all milestones and quality gates in order to confirm the process compliance and making sure that these milestone declarations are accurately completed;
- Making sure that all project are registered in the AS PLM product portfolio (for instance the M200 list).
- Support of project leader:
- Supporting and consulting Project Leader in introducing and realizing QA measures as well as tailoring processes.
- Tracking of the product management quality:
- Quality of the effort impact matrix (M100-M200)
- Quality of the adherence to the 80:20 rule (Q.PM200)
- Quality of Earned Value (M200-M260)
- Quality of the correlation of test progress vs. open RQs in ARTS (M260-M270)
- Further figures out of the field of Lean Development (adherence Time-Boxing, BurnDownChart etc.)
- Product security:
-Review of the adherence of project activities with the required security measures according to the security categorization of the product

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Familiar with Electronic / Industrial Engineering and Project management;
- Familiar with SMT & PCBA development and introduction processes;
- Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese;
- Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or similar;
- Experience in project management; Development and SMT & PCBA's processes;
- Good team player to lead and work together with relevant department for project tasks;
- Internship working experience in multination company is preferred;
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
