职位描述

This position may require to work in Nanba, Dazhou City. Work schedule is 28 days on, 28 days off. Company will provide accommodations on days on. Transportation is to be provided from home location to Nanba. Salary is paid 12 month period. Please provide CV in Chinese and English.

Key Job Responsibilities

Support and Maintenance of Plant IT Systems
Level 1 Support
Provide 1st Level Support for Plant IT Systems. All incidents with respect to hardware, software, connectivity, server access, data management, back up and printing needs will be the candidates responsibility. Where ownership is defined the incidents and service requests should be resolved by this position. Where there are conflicting priorities this position will need to assess the impact to business, best corrective action, and prioritize accordingly. Keep users informed of progress.

Managing Level 2 Support
Manage incidents and service requests that cannot be resolved which need to be moved on to Level 2 support organizations or external vendors (maintenance contracts). Requests/Problems should be categorized and correctly defined so that the relevant support groups or external suppliers have sufficient information for a timely resolution. Categories will include:
-Communications - for radios, phones including CTN access & Fax
-Data Connectivity – for Local Area Network and Wireless connectivity
-Maintenance of Plant System Infrastructure (cameras, non-GIL work stations/servers, etc)
-Work with Logistic teams such as transport to ensure assets are not lost or delayed in transit.

Follow Up and Remedial action
Partner with the CDB IT, External Vendors to ensure support is timely and incident resolution is complete. Ensure all tasks that had been identified and action taken are completed satisfactorily. Monitor all help desk tickets generated by users and assigned to this position. Participate in regular meetings with CDB IT and Chevron Technology User forums to communicate concerns/issues and share lessons learned/best practices.

Ensure/Maintain Compliance of Plant IT Systems
Information Protection
-Support PCN and OTS systems to comply with Chevron IP compliance standards (antivirus update, permissions and access control, elimination of vulnerability)
-Carries out compliance activities on his/her system of expertise using CIRS Technical Control checklists.
-Complete/execute activities to ensure the compliance of IT Systems during transition phase and operations
-Partner with Chevron Technology companies to stay up to date on changes to compliance guidelines/standards
-Serve as Information Custodian for all non-GIL Plant IT Systems
-Escalate any IP issues to Sr. Plant Systems Administrator.

Ergonomics and Safety
-Embrace all CDB initiatives on safety especially with respect to workstation ergonomics and RSI issues. Work with HSE group within the Project to report and remedy deficiencies.
-Ensure safe work environment. Take appropriate actions when hazards are seen. Exercise “stop work authority” when necessary.
-Become an advocate and adhere to all company compliance and safety programs

Data Management
-Serve as system administrator for Control System Historians.
-Partner with CDB IT/IM to ensure data management standards/guidelines are being followed.
-Ensure that all flow of data/information from control systems to historians to business solutions is seamless and reliability and availability of data is high.

Communications/Knowledge Sharing/Learning
-Communicate, collaborate, share information (English and Chinese, written and oral) with other Plant Systems team members, CDB Teams (IT, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc), CVX IT organizations (ITC, ETC, etc), and application vendors in order to achieve the object of support of the technical computing environment and improve the quality of the overall IT service provided.
-Represent CDB in Chevron PCN OE Community of practice.

Education and other requirements

-Bachelor Degree Preferred in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
-+4 years experience in providing IT support in one or both of the functional areas above for a medium to large size company (+100 end users).
-Good communications skills written and oral in Mandarin and English (CET Level 4 or higher).

Technologies:
-Windows XP workstation /Vista, Office XP (troubleshooting), server Windows 2003/2008, virtual servers.
-Local area network Infrastructure, domain concepts, DNS, DHCP, and services like Active Directory, permission and E-mail.
-Communications, radio, and telephones.
-Server and Server Storage (SAN/NAS)

Independence:
Individual must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Must have good verbal and written communications skills, and must be able to coordinate input from multiple organizations. Ability to work with external vendors to resolve problems.
