Position: Industry Manager (IM) - Transport Logistics
Purpose of position:
The role must comply with company principles, management rules, operation procedures/regulations for all his/her job related activities/behavior. Must try his/her best to achieve the industry's business goals which is a part of the whole company's through his professional work. Must support all related colleagues in the whole organization by providing professional guidance/instructions regarding his/her focused industry whole with a "binding" mind setup for the whole company's business.

Job responsibilities:

1. Understand and accept Company Culture and rules of Management and Operation for all function related to Sales operations.
2. Be responsible for assigned Strategic Industry sales result, should be able to provide direction to sales to maximize business potential in a given industry. Gather related industry information from regional and consolidate for Strategic Planning purpose
3. Be overall responsible for the industry sales staff's performance and management, supervising salesman's job related activities; jointly responsible for their development and maintain an excellent work force in line with the company's principles and policies.
4. Be responsible for market potential evaluation and sales forecast according to the dynamics and trends of the responsible industry.
5. Be responsible for budget setting, annual sales planning and their execution; Other resources distribution management (such as loan, goods lending, marketing promotion, product catalogue) for the responsible industry.
6. Close communication with HQ SIM and be strategic mind oriented, support IKAM (e.g. international projects, application support, training, and price)
7. Be the key driver for industry knowledge / application training for sales department, serve as “industry expert” from both solutions and industry market, set up industry competence or application “library” for assigned industry.
8. Be direct responsible for focus industry customer sales performance and potential tracking.
   Work closely with Regional Sales Team, Service Team, Marketing Team and Product Manager Team to formulate Business / Activities plan for the responsible regional

Job requirements:

1. University Graduate, preferable with Automation/Electrical education background.
2. At least 10 years in sales or marketing, Should be familiar with the products and applications similar with SICK's products in related focus industry fields, among the 10 years, at least two years at manager position.
3. Fluency in English reading and writing; Good command in Excel, Word, Windows, Power Point; Willing to travel; Negotiation skill; Communication with impact skill
4. Business Acumen; In depth sensor application/or automation component application know-how in the targeted industry; Negotiation skill; Market analytical skill; Customer Knowledge; Building Relationship with Customer; Prospecting and Networking.
5. Customer Focus; Respect and Trust; Collaboration; Communication; Innovation; Building Successful Team; Coaching; Facilitating Change; Driving for Result; Planning and Organizing; Decision Making.
6. Integrity, Mature and independent, driving for results.
