职位描述

Factor I : Accountability

Performance Measurement
· Achieve respective KOB booking goals for respective assigned country
· Achieve Sales and Profitability target for respective assigned country
· Regular review of country budget against actual to ensure that key performance indicators are meeting financial objectives.

Project Pursuit
· Lead strategic project pursuits, providing technical solutions, pursuit strategy and proposal strategy.
· Drive the pain-to-solution pursuit process to maximize PSS/AO contents and drive pull-through for Field Devices.
· Provide leadership on proposal strategy and work closely with the AP Proposal Team to generate timely, quality and competitive proposals.
· Coordination of pursuit strategy with regional project pursuit team.

Monthly SIS Sales Reporting
· Support monthly management reporting on projects pursuit status
· Provide monthly sales report and forecasting to support achieving the PSS/AO AP business goals

Market Development
· Assessing of market trends, identifying growth opportunity and analyzing competitive landscape.
· Implement business plans for new/growth market expansion opportunities, new industries penetration and target key account development.
· Work with PSS/AO-AP to accelerate growth and drive marketing promotional activities

Sales Processes & Tools, Proposal and Best Practices
· Conformance to DOA guidelines for pricing and discount authorization
· Conformance to Export Control procedures.
· Provide competitive feedback to global marketing on product and strategic direction.
· Provide recommendations and summary to AP Management on project pricing and competitive positioning, risks, sales strategy and intrinsic value of project, and future potential business on the award of the project

Scope Data

· Accountable for the growth of SIS business in country
· Substantial interaction with sales channels and customers at all levels.
· Interaction with HQ Marketing, Global Applied Advanced Technology Team and other international area sales/marketing personnels.
· Interaction with alliance partners and other third party product suppliers.

Factor II : Knowledge and Skills (Describe skills this job will use these skills)
Knowledge and Skills

· Degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of process safety application sales experience in process control industry. Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Refining Industry.

· Strong analytical and questioning skills coupled with ability to develop and implement strategies.

· Good business knowledge. Regional Sales experience especially in the process safety applications.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially influencing skills.

· Strong organisational, prioritisation and planning skills.

· Good planning/ priority management
How Used

· Able to articulate the system technical/application offerings and its differentiation.

· This is needed for extensive projects pursuits inherent in this position.

· For commercial negotiation when closing projects.

· For extensive communications with countries and customers.

· Position has a high degree of dynamic short-term demands as well as longer term objectives to meet.

· To cover the assigned country market

· Interaction with Product marketing who seek feedback and input for product development. Able to present technological edge to customers in an effective manner

· To effectively manage technology change and to assist in meeting business goals of the organisation

Factor IV : Relationships

· Reports directly to the Country Manager with dotted line to PSS/AO Leader.

· External interaction:
- With customers at both management and engineer levels.
- With representative and country organisations at both management and engineer levels.

· Internal interaction:
- Extensive interaction across all levels with V-Ps, directors, managers, engineers and administrators within the BUs in AP.
- Substantial interaction with directors, managers and engineers within the PSS-AP organization
- Substantial interaction with the other AP BUs.

Other Comments

· Able to travel extensively at least 50% of the time

· Person with good mix of technical and “sales” related skills

· Able to interact positively with all levels, recognising and adapting to the cultural differences that exist.
