Responsibilities:
Drive focused customers and key opportunities together with distributors in the region:
1) Implement the agreed distribution strategy in assigned territory;
2) Plan and execute end customer penetration with the distributors sales teams;
3) Manage projects in the region together with local Maxim sales/FAE, the distributor , and the business units;
4) Generic business development tasks related to efficiency enhancement;
5) Provide feedback to the business units and the sales management on Design in, Distributor Registration, POS;
6) Train, develop and retain a competent and distribution workforce;
7) Liaise with the drivers, encouraging clear, open and concise communication;
8) Interface with relevant customer contacts on behalf of Maxim;
9) Communicate and network effectively at all levels with customers, distributors in the assigned region;
10) Drive market segments in the region with the focus products.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor degree with engineering, plus commercial qualifications are of advantage;
2) 5 + years experience in Semiconductors, at least 2+ years of experience working in a similar environment;
3) Proved track record in making things happen, result driven;
4) Strong communication and networking skills, also toward the business units;
5) Fluent English in both written and spoken;
6) Good mixture of commercial sense and technical understanding;
7) Creativity and optimism;
8) Pro-active attitude and ability to work with little supervision;
9) Team player who is able to inspire others.
