Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day to day processing of product through their area of responsibility.

Education and Experience Requirements
-College degree or above(will be verified)
-5+ years experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
-Experience to include product assembly, test, and inspection of products at both the subassembly and finished product level
-Candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills and be able to develop effective internal and external working relationships
-Working knowledge of business software applications

Essential Responsibilities

-Develop and grow personnel within the department with minimal direction
-Supervise personnel within the department in support of the production schedule
-Responsible for allocation of work loads within department in a manner that will maximize resource potential
-Ensure that department personnel are properly trained to perform the requirements of their position profile
-Must ensure that all operators utilize the appropriate instructions for the specific process they are performing
-Responsible for the creation, maintenance and execution of all data flowing into and out of the department, in a timely manner
-Ensure all units received are processed in the order received (oldest to newest) unless otherwise instructed by Production Control
-Report and document any errors or procedural corrections required immediately
-Perform annual performance reviews for department personnel
-Report any safety issues or hazardous situations immediately
-Report any accident or injury immediately


Other responsibilities/Scope
-Personal contacts involve frequent contacts with management presenting information or recommendations
-Works on non-routine tasks that involve analysis and solution of complex problems based on facts, within broad policies and objectives, generally within precedents but must also make decisions based upon exceptions
-Duties involve making constant decisions and providing the authorization for recommended courses of action
