Job Description:
Javra Software is seeking highly experienced Business Object Administrator ready to make a long term commitment to an excellent career in China. The incumbent will work with the Business Intelligence team and is responsible for the administration and management of a complex Business Objects 4.0 environment. This position will develop reports which support multiple business units and lines of business. The Business Objects Administrator will analyze data from various platforms and develop processes' which meet end-user requirements for reporting and analysis.

Role and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Developing end-to-end processes which extract transform and load data into the data warehouse and data marts.
2. Work cooperatively in a project-focused development team.
3. Take the technical lead in your projects, including responsibility for other team members.
4. Analyze requirements, create software/database designs, and architect solutions using formal methods.
5. Assist Project Management in planning and estimation.

Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Objects. More experienced candidates are preferred.

You have the following experience and profile:
You are:
1. Confident to communicate in written and spoken English.
2. Motivated, innovative and ready to take responsibility and initiative in your work.
3. Able to break down development tasks and estimate them.
4. Focused on writing reusable, reliable and readable code.
5. You have knowledge and experience with:
6. Business Objects XI 3.1x/BI 4.0 Enterprise, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Explorer, Auditor, CMC, CCM, Scheduling and Administration.
7. Installing, configuring and administering Business Objects products including Security architecture/configurations administration.
8. Good understanding of Business Objects Application and Web servers.
9. Implementing clustered configurations for load balancing and fault tolerant environments, application upgrades, Patch/Hot fix updates and sizing.
10. Universe design and data modeling techniques - must have experience with Aggregate Awareness and Contexts in Business Objects.
11. Creation of classes and objects in the universe based on the requirements.
12. Testing of reports against universes and database connections and validating the report data against the database.


Background in any of the following is a bonus:
1. Strong SQL skills.
2. Additional Business Objects experience including:
3. Migrating Universes from BO 3.x to 4.x
4. Integration of Kerberos with Windows AD environment.
5. Configuring Active Directory and Single Sign On in Business Objects.
6. BO Explorer and Xcelsius.
7. experience in Security Model for XI 3.1 or 4.0
8. working knowledge and usage of Infoview, Crystal and Webi
9. experience in infrastructure background
10. Experience in a troubleshooting and problem solving environment.
