GENERAL SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.JavaScript/Ajax programming–60%

- Work on dynamic web pages (e.g. JavaScript, Popular Ajax frameworks);

- Design and compose UI Component and provide APIs;

- Resolve cross team issues which involve different skills and technologies;

2. HTML and Java Development – 20%

- Come up and Implement cross-browser compatibility solution;

- Debug and fix HTML/JavaScript defects;

- Be able to address Java issues;

- Be familiar with core language of Java Output functions;

3. Behavior–20%

- Team player and a fast learner;

- Cooperative in working with developers to complete development tasks;

- Assist team lead to handle some management work if necessary;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Competencies: Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

Functional Competencies:

JavaScript and CSS are a must

Solid skills in using HTML Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream-weaver, Flash, CSS2

Traditional illustration skills are a plus

Good sense of vision/art is a plus

Experience in Mobile design is a plus

Experience in Flash developer is a plus

Experience in UX(User Experience) design is a plus

Can work under pressure

Good oral and written English

Interpersonal Competencies:

Good communication skills

Work well in a team environment or individually, with a positive attitude

Interact well with technical teams, business owners and project managers

Ability to work under a fast paced delivery oriented environment

Be professional in daily work

Result-oriented and self-motivated

Demonstrate integrity, maturity and a constructive approach to challenges

2. Experience:

At least 3 year experience working as a UI designer

3. Minimum educational level:

B.S. Computer Science or equivalent
