The position will work closely with all members of the financial team for the Ygomi family of companies.

The Ygomi family of companies consists of three companies providing advanced software and services to major companies serving different global markets. In addition to the US, our activities are undertaken in China, Germany and Japan.

This position will report to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and will be located in China at our Chengdu office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

? Prepare draft consolidated Ygomi group financial statements required for external reporting together with all notes to the financial statements.
? Prepare management financial reports for the business units/companies of the Ygomi Group.
? Control and analyze expenses, develop reports and propose cost reductions.
? Work with the business leaders to enhance and refine the presentation and accuracy of meaningful data to allow timely decisions.
? Maintain an evergreen financial estimate model including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow by month to be published by the 15th of each month.
? Lead the preparation of all schedules and supporting documentation required by Ygomi’s outside tax accountants to complete the annual tax returns for each US entity.
? Control and set up new companies in the company’s Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software.
? Control and maintain the company global Chart Of Account.
? Support and direct local accounting staff in each location for accounting guidance.
? Prepare all Ygomi Group consolidating and eliminating entries and approve all Ygomi company and affiliate company consolidating and eliminating accounting entries.
? Approve and assist in the setup of all currency exchange rates to convert local currency company financial statements to USD and ensure the proper reporting and accounting for currency differences in accordance with GAAP.
? Assist in troubleshooting and training of staff in Microsoft FRX financial report writer

Required Skills / Experience

? Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and Frx Report Writer
? Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel with an interest is using technology to get the job done
? Well-developed communication and problem solving skills
? Knowledge of IT technology and interest in working with onsite IT staff to develop improvements to our financial reporting systems
? A strong results orientation and an ability to work with precision in a high paced environment

Qualifications

? An undergraduate degree in Accounting
? 5 years experience working in a busy financial function
? 2 years experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements with minority interest holdings, multiple foreign currency transactions
? 3 years experience working in a software development company preferred
? 2 years working in a company with international operations
? English language, speak, read and write fluently

Chengdu R&D center auto driving team is currently serving 6 of the world’s top 8 vehicle manufacturers to develop in vehicle and server software. The product will achieve automated driving in production vehicles expected in 2020. The markets initially covered will be China, Europe, Russia, North America, and Japan.
