Job description:
1-Material strategy
(1)Conduct market analysis
(2)Support the strategy definition process with cross functional partners
(3)Ensure Continentals requirements are reflected in the strategy
(4)Support documentation and implementation of the strategy in all Business Units’ worldwide
2-Data maintenance
(1)Ensure in time implementation of correct data in the respective systems
(2)Support data maintenance and target achievement in the respective systems
(3)Ensure proper information exchange to/from suppliers in case of change requests
(4)Negotiate changes with suppliers
3-Archieve Best market conditions
(1)Ensure fulfillment of requirements with legally binding contracts
(2)Influence the sourcing process during development phase by
* Best supplier selection
* Negotiation of prices and closure of contracts
* Deploy the category strategy
* Sourcing decision
4-Material Targets Achievement
(1)Support annual negotiations to constantly improve the cost situation of Continental Automotive
(2)Support improvement programs with suppliers
(3)Support Re-design to cost / cost reduction programs

Job requirements:
1-Bachelor degree or above, major in Materials or related
2-Minimum 3 years experience in various procurement functions as well as cross-functional experience gained in procurement-related functional areas
3-Overseas work experience or international exposure in daily business is preferred
