职位描述
Purpose:
This person will work closely with suppliers, Sourcing Manager and buyer in order to ensure that sourcing, ordering, shipment and new product development processes are of the highest quality and to also ensure that the right product is delivered for the right price at the right time.
Key accountabilities:
- Evaluate, establish and develop reliable suppliers for quality, service, price and local content requirements
- On time communication of the buying brief to the suppliers
- Monitor performance in order to deliver 100% on time launch
- Monitor supplier performance
- Follow up samples and monitor approval at all different stages
- Negotiate with suppliers for the always competitive prices
Requirements:
- Graduate from university and with at least 3 years relevant experience
- Purchasing experience in stationary products is preferred
- Must have worked with international teams
- Fluent verbal and written English, Mandarin is essential
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Time management, responsiveness and ability to deal with suppliers
- Willing to travel
- Good in teamwork and be able to overtime work if necessary
