职位描述
POSITION OBJECTIVE
? Develop and implement business strategies to grow China business in terms of Bookings,
Sales, GP and improve the Working capital, in accordance to Emerson Process China goals
and objectives.
? Attract, motivate and develop an engaging sales team to deliver business units’ sales goals
and Process China key initiatives (Wireless, Perceptive technologies, Cluster program,
Services business, etc.)
? Build strategic relationship with strategic accounts/key accounts/local key customers.
? Help manage the local services organization and deliver customer loyalty towards Emerson.
? To represent Emerson Process in the designated territories.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
? Ensure business opportunities are addressed and pursued in the designated territories in a timely fashion,
which include projects and installed base businesses.
? Working closely with the Business Unit management team to develop regional business plan and lead the
regional sales team and the LBP to deliver bookings and sales as committed in budget/POR for all Business
Units.
? Identify, pursue and articulate business opportunities in the South China region.
? Identify incremental, untapped and breakthrough market potential in the South China region.
? Working closely with the Business Units to manage the pricing control and discount authorisation in the
region.
? Manage and improve the work processes and procedures for quotations, proposals, applications and
services for all pre-sales and after-sales activities to exceed customers’ expectations and deliver financial
commitments to the company.
? Help to build relationship and confidently address customers, at all levels, especially at the senior level.
? Co-ordinate and lead all cross Business Unit activities.

? This position has strong working relationships with each Business Units Organization
? South region salesperson will report to this position directly, and dot line to Business Unit Leaders.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
? Engineering degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
? Minimum 7 years experience in process industry sales of which 2 years in managerial position & strong
instrumentation knowledge.
? Good knowledge of the automation technology and its related industry standards & capabilities.
? Knowledge & understanding of China market conditions & business opportunities.
? Good understanding of Emerson Process Management products and offerings.
? Good knowledge in process control and management skill.
? Fluent in Putonghua and English. Fluency in Cantonese will be an added advantage.
? Frequent travel to customer sites in China and occasionally international locations.
? To be located in Guangzhou Office, Guangdong province.
