Booking.com (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., one of the support companies in China, is looking for an Editing Team Leader in Shanghai.
As Editing Team Leader you are responsible for the editing activities of the local Editing team, which is part of the Global Content Department of Booking.com. The Content department is responsible for commercial hotel content, translations and guest reviews.
You will manage a team of editors. The goal for editors is to promote each hotel in the most attractive way to persuade web-browsers to book hotel rooms through our websites.
Key responsibilities
? Coordination of priorities and workload amongst the team, in line with company strategy, deadlines and quality standards
? Manage all operational activities of the editing team, including recruitment, planning, productivity, training, appraisals and coaching of the team.
? Ensure and improve quality of the editing activities of the team
? Coordination of projects to improve content and conversion.
? Communicate content-related issues with other relevant parties within the company, including Account Managers and Coordinators.
Requirements:
? HBO/University level
? Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with editing commercial texts
? Previous management experience in an international organization is a pro
? Background in e-commerce, or hotel/hospitality marketing
? Proactive, enthusiastic and motivating leader
? Strong communication and analytical skills
? Excellent knowledge of the English language;
? Willingness to travel
