Overall Responsibilities


* Manage the HR function for MAU. Further develop and optimize a professional Human Resources team and stimulate and promote positive performance.
* Work closely together with the Managing Director in MAU and the global HR to ensure that the Human resources system in MAU Lingang (临港) corresponds to company’s strategy and policies and drives the success of the business.
* Further develop Company guidelines, HR policies and legal compliance and make sure these are properly documented
* Manage the financial performance of HR, including performance against budget, revenues versus cost. Also keep tight control on cost for service providers.
* Represent the HR function in the management team, participate and assist in the formulation of the business strategy for MAU both for the company in general and for the HR department in particular.
* Work actively with creating a corporate culture in the company and make people proud of working for one of the world’s leading companies in cargo flow solutions.
* Motivate and encourage staff
* Perform headcount planning to ensure effective and timely talent acquisition, retention and deployment of resources.
* Co-ordinate succession and talent development plans in order to ensure continuity of competent staff
* Assist the line management in the selection and recruitment processes
* Co-ordinate and execute all activities relating to international mobility/transfers and expatriates
* Initiates and stimulates knowledge sharing and advice line management pro-actively on HR issues in order to achieve maximum HR effectiveness and to optimise business results. Coach line management in the effective resolution of people and performance management issues.
* Conduct orientation program for new hires and exit interviews (managerial positions).
* Develop and Maintain Company guidelines
* Develop and maintain the Compensation and benefit systems
* Organize internal seminars and training sessions related to Human Resources issues such as recruiting, how to hold development talk, how to plan, arrange and review training etc
* Watch the labor market in China in order to keep updated in relation to salary levels and new relevant regulations. Ensure compliance of company rules to related government rules and regulations. Participate in wage and benefits surveys to ensure competitive remuneration structure.
* Further develop performance management systems including performance appraisal, re-training, rewarding and warning systems.
* HR administration (incl. personnel records, training records, payroll, pensions, headcount, employee turnover etc.)
* Responsibility for relations with Labor Bureau and other relevant governmental authorities
* Facilitate performance development review process.
* Further develop communication channels between employees and management and cross functional.
* Manage employee morale and resolve any grievances proactively.
* Ensure that the Environmental, Health & Safety system is in compliance with the law and increases the satisfaction of the employees
* Assist in restructuring activities necessary to align the business to the ever changing business environment.
* Ensure that company regulations are followed among the staff

Implementation of people practices:


* Implementation, maintenance and updating of Company People Processes, policies and guidelines (PDP, salary, bonus, Talent Review, employee surveys)
* Participation and contribution to the Company HR network

Requirements:

* University degree in Human Resources or similar and with Human Resources management experience from a manufacturing and/ or sales/service organization.
* Knowledge of best practices in HR environments as well as best practices in the payroll and benefits function
* Experience in dealing with organizational development/change and integration issues
* Demonstrated experience successfully managing teams and HR projects and a good understanding of working cross borders.
* At least 5-8 years of HR experience of which 2-3 years experience of HR management (with subordinates)
* Working experience from MNC.
* Experience from developing a company’s Human Resources systems and procedures.
* Demonstrated experience implementing processes and improvement initiatives
* Experience from implementing company guidelines and human resources systems into organizations.
* Strong leadership skills to ensure implementation of policies, procedures and when necessary, corrective actions.
* Strong written and oral English communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal/organization, communication and presentation skills; ability to interact at all levels across cultures.
* Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and HRMS systems / databases.
* Solid Knowledge of Chinese labor laws, regulations and the labor market. Employment and social security and EHS rules and regulations
* HR accreditation is an asset
