职位描述
Act as Application Engineer, for current commercial business and new products, to set up the right converting process, and have trouble shooting skills at the customer site
Attend Sales meetings to communicate Tredegar product capabilities and identify and communicate film performance requirements, relative to customer needs, as input to product improvement and development efforts.
Work closely with commercial team to introduce the products performance and to promote the products.
Collect the customer’s requests and market information to Product Development team for developing the products
Serve as field liaison to Supply Chain in order to enhance the understanding and prevention of quality issues. Consult with and assist Operations Analyst, Sales and Supply Chain in addressing and resolving quality issues.
Assist R&D and Supply Chain in the establishment and maintenance of customer specifications.
Gather and communicate competitive intelligence.
Major: Polymer Material Science & Engineering; Material Science & Engineering; Material & Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience:
Experience in plastic films materials and processing,
Have experience at the plant
Demonstrated ability to analyze product and process data, trouble shooting skills
Have machine experience, especial for feminine napkin and diaper industry
Experience with multi-national customers and colleagues
Required Skills:
Good communication skills, including ability to communicate in verbal and written English
Skills for operate the converting machine
Troubleshooting skills
Polymer Material knowledge, film knowledge, non-woven knowledge
Basic statistics and data analysis
Report writing
