This position is based in Nanba, Dazhou City. Work schedule is 28 days on, 28 days off. Company will provide accommodations on days on. Transportation is to be provided from home location to Nanba. Salary is paid over 12 month period. Please provide CV in English.

Job Description
Technical Tasks:
. Inspects and evaluates work operations, production methods, and engineering controls to determine potential contaminant emission sources or related health hazards associated with work place conditions.
. Conducts investigations of working conditions in places of employment for the prevention of occupational disease and industrial health hazards, with specific reference to toxic substances, noise, and harmful physical agents.
. Measures airborne concentrations of dust, gases and mists; uses air sampling instruments and collection devices.
. Collects samples of work materials to detect and evaluate employee exposure to toxic substances.
. Determines effectiveness of engineering control methods and makes recommendations regarding location, design, structure, operations, and maintenance of contaminant and physical agent control systems.
. Reviews plans for health hazard control procedures.
. Interprets rules and regulations to officials of industry and others.
. Evaluates investigation findings, proposed corrective measures, and compliance with health rules and standards.
. Consults with management, technical personnel, medical personnel, and regulatory agencies regarding industrial health problems and solutions.
. Participates in follow-up investigations to ensure corrective measures are carried out where required.
. Reviews and approves plans and specifications of proposed contaminant and physical agent control.
. Participates in special studies and monitoring programs to determine environmental conditions.
. Keeps abreast of technology and current issues through seminars and training.
. Conducts training for a variety of workforce members.
. Organizes and interprets field data and identifies necessary corrections.
. Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work.
Knowledge:
. Fundamentals of chemistry, mathematics, physics, and engineering.
. Industrial processes, equipment, and materials used in the work place.
. Principles of industrial hygiene and work place hazards.
. Scientific methods used in health hazard control.
. Understanding of the relationship between working conditions and health.
. Techniques utilized in industrial hygiene investigations.
Certifications:
. Knowledge of Chinese industrial hygiene legal requirements is preferred.
. Ability to acquire certifications as required under Chinese law to fulfill regulatory requirements for Industrial Hygiene is required.
