The successful candidate will possess at least five years experience working with Informatica Power Centre.


Responsibilities:


·Develop and design Informatica ETL solutions and ensure high quality of work that adheres to best practices and standards.

·Provide Informatica technical guidance to ETL development team

·Work closely with the overseas development and design team throughout the software development life cycle to triage issues and feedback to the local team




Skill Requirements:

·University Degree or College Diploma

·At least 5+ years of experience in Informatica Power Center. Must have worked on Informatica 8.4.1. or above;

- Expertise in Oracle database and PL/SQL

·Good in Database and Datawarehouse concepts;

·Good knowledge of ETL and Informatica Best Practices;

·Experience using Informatica in UNIX platform is a plus;

·Strong querying and analytical skills;

·Experience leading successful Informatica Development projects

·Experience managing off-shore development teams

·Strong Data Warehouse experience

·Familiar with Agile delivery methodology. Demonstrates a personal commitment to technology;

·Ability to build technical specifications based on functional specifications;

·Develop and support Informatica ETL Solutions ;

·Troubleshoot production issues and provide solution for issue fixes;

·Optimizing performance; Creating best practices/ principles and departmental standards/procedures;

·Document coding and design activities for ETL / BI processes;

·Excellent communication and coordination skills;

-Knowledge of BI tools like Cognos will be a strong asset
