POSITION OBJECTIVE

Take charge of proposal and solution for Integrated Products Package (IPP) and products from RFQ to delivery by working closely with Sales, CIO, Operation, other function department and Venders as well.

· MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

·Pre-qualification of RFQ
·Review of customer specification and prepare exceptions/compliance.
·Develop solution through product selection, flow calculation and meter sizing, integration of products,
·Identify cost implications of customer specifications and standards to be complied.
·Send a clean request to factory for quotation and delivery commitment with all relevant detail technical specifications.
·Obtain quote from factory on time in line with the customer requirement.
·Submission of product quotes on time as per the customer requirement.
·Prepare cost estimation and review with CST Manager/Sales Team
·Prepare complete proposal and review with Sales Team.
·Submission of proposals on time as per the customer requirement
·Responsibility of pre-engineered products/solutions, maximizing Daniel's products and solutions.
·Develop customized specification/documentation for Daniel products based on the customer requirement.
·Maintain log of all proposals as per the existing tools and procedures.
·Provide technical clarification and attend meeting as required from agents/customers.
·Handing over of proposal to CIO on receipt of purchase order with all back-up documents.
·Prepare the IPP (Integrated Products Package) proposal and deal with buy-out items with the cooperation of CIO and Procurement Team.
·Evaluate the 3rd vendor's quotations and technical compliance.
·Control GP with CST Manager/Sales Team.
·Clarify PO with FTY and customers for technical acceptance.
·Complete other job assigned by supervisor/manager

· SCOPE

Area of coverage/account coverage, extent of authorisation, sales/profit volume
·Significant interaction with sales, factory, customers and vendors
·Complete responsibility from RFQ to delivery; pre-qualification, quotation, compliance and exception report, pricing, selection of equipment and sizing of meters, sales follow-up, order processing.

· JOB COMPETENCIES, AND COMPETENCY STANDARD NEEDED

· Handling of flow measurement applications and product knowledge
· Cost estimation
· Proficient in PC skills and application software like MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
· Strong interpersonal skill
· Commitment to deliver on deadlines
· Details and quality conscientiousness


· EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

· Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation/Chemical/Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical)
· 3-4 years of working experience in proposal, applications and engineering of Instrumentation and Control system preferably in Oil and Gas related industry.
