Job Purpose:

Promote and provide technical support on Oxygen combustion application in Metallurgy, Glass, and Waste disposal etc. in Messer's merchant markets of East, South, and West of China.

1. Responsibilities (Commercial) :

1.1 Provide technical training and consultation on furnace/combustion applications to JV/WOFE engineers, sales force as well as business developers.
1.2 Conduct market survey on the prospects of introducing oxygen combustion application technologies to Messer's key merchant markets in China.
1.3 Assist Messer's JVs and WOFEs in project acquisition and sales promotion by convincing customers with technical know-how and competence.
1.4 Keep contact and coordinate with experts in Europe for technical information and support.
1.5 Promote Messer's application technology in China through exhibitions, seminars, brochures and other literature.

2. Responsibilities (Operations) :

2.1 Ensure that gas application developed and installed meets customer's expectation and specification by

- Managing communication interface between customer and Messer technical engineers during equipment installation and commissioning.
- Planning, monitoring and maintaining schedule of application projects.
- Successfully commissioning and starting-up the gas application at customer's site.
- Providing after-sales technical support to customer's gas application.

3. Qualifications :

3.1 Minimum Bachelor degree of Engineering or Science, major in chemical engineering, thermal, metallurgy, construction material etc..
3.2 At least 5 years of working experience in the area of Gas Applications for Combustion. Operational experience is strongly preferred.
3.3 Good English ability in reading, listening, writing and speaking.
3.4 Working knowledge of MS Office.
3.5 Willing to travel frequently.
3.6 Good interpersonal skills.
