Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Responsible for production support, process control and process improvement for optical cable making manufacturing.

2. Recommend/execute process improvements for quality, yield and cost improvement.

3. Focus on building knowledge of the existing process and capabilities.

4. Implement new product introduction, new production line / equipment prove-in.

5. Support the new material qualification.

Education/Knowledge Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree or above.

2. Major in mechanical, electrical, physics, chemic or materials engineering.

Experience/Skills/Competences

1. Minimum 3 years process engineer experience in manufacturing plant. Have knowledge of industry processes & methods.

2. Familiar with process/quality/cost control and improvement tools such as DMAIC, Six Sigma, KT, SPC, DOE, etc.

3. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across the organization.

4. Good written and oral English.

5. Familiar with project management processes.
