Financial Analyst

Job Description:
Provides varying levels of counsel and general financial information to operational business groups or factories to assist and/or drive the business decision making process.
Ensures compliance with generally accepted reporting standards and corporate policies to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting.
General information and counsel may be provided in the areas of pricing, cost, marketing strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
Supports the business control function by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization. (Credit Representatives and Risk Management Analysts included here.)
Risk Management and/or Credit Description:
Develops, implements, and administers company casualty and property loss insurance programs.
Analyzes and defines potential loss areas and determines appropriate type and level of loss protection to be insured.
Prepares specifications for broker or underwriter bids, evaluates bids and recommends or concludes insurance contracts.
Submits claims and monitors payments.
Participates in appraisal and adjustment proceedings.
Develops and coordinates risk control programs to prevent losses and reduce premiums.
May administer workers, compensation insurance program. Credit incumbents analyze customer and potential customers, financial condition and credit ratings to set credit limits and terms.
Responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur.
Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Requirement:
You should possess a Bachelor/Master's degree (or an M.B.A.) in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong analytical, accounting and controls, problem solving, leadership, teamwork, business partnering and communication skills
-Firm grasp of financial statements and their interrelationships and demonstrated skills utilizing the Microsoft* Office* Suite of tools
-Bachelor- 5yrs and above related exp.
Master-3yrs and above related exp.
