Sr. Materials Engineer
Work Location: Chengdu

Job Description
This position present an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated technical contributor to excel in supplier management, material technology development and HVM operation management.
The candidate should possess passion & energy to collaborate with supplier to build the necessary technical capability and HVM infrastructure to deliver sustainable high quality HDI substrate to Intel. Responsibilities include managing substrate HVM performance, lead continuous improvement, partner TD to ramp new technologies and support substrate development. He/she is expected to form an effective partnership with Materials Q&R and TD to accomplish the ablove. Specific duties and responsibilities includes:
-setting up supplier HVM infrastructure and system
-manage/lead substrate HVM operation and excursion management
-partner TD on development and ramp of new technologies

Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 years minimum experience on manufacturing operation management, technical program management, quality management or technology development of relevant field.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Bachelor or Master or PHD in Materials Science, Chemical/Metallurgical/Mechanical Engineering.

SKILLS/Knowledge/Abilities: strong supplier management skills, technical depth in substrate technology and manufacturing as well as Intel's assembly processes knowledge are pre-requisite. Wafer fabrication knowledge & experience on will be an advantage. Specific skills, knowledge and abilities:
Demonstrated strong technical skill in materials development and HVM operation management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good internal and external stakeholder management skill
Ability to work in cross functional teams
High Integrity and able to work independently
Proven Supplier management skill, familiar in factory operations, quality systems and driving breakthrough performance.
