Role & responsibilities:

?Should be able to Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex customer reported issues in a timely manner.

?Should strive to be a regional subject matter expert on Marvell switch products and software. Expertise on other Marvell physcivers could also be considered.

?Work with the software platform teams to ensure proper alignment to enable key customer designs.

?Train customers on key components/capabilities of Marvell SDK and the benefits of the chip’s architecture and features for their application(s) vs the competition.

?Prepare and present technical demos and trainings when necessary.

?Review and assist in the debugging of customer’s L2/L3 protocol stack and HAL APIs, OS and application code

?Guidance and assistance to integrate switch SDK with customer software, device drivers, API's, and application software.

?Interface with regional/WW FAE Team members, engineering and product management to escalate and resolve issues.

?Replicate issues and testing customer configurations in a lab environment

?Author technical knowledge base articles for use by customers, other technical support personnel, and partners

?Develop training materials on your designated subject matter area of expertise

?Review and provide feedback on Marvell technical documents, specifications, manuals, app notes, white papers, product briefs, etc.

Required Skills:

?Driving and sustaining best-in-class technical support/engagements, and demonstrated success in helping technically to Win complex design opportunities is desirable.

?Solid understanding of switch L2/L3 functionalities. Working knowledge of enterprise/datacenter switch is desirable.

?Knowledge of, or familiarity with Networking protocols, software, systems, and test fixture

?C programming, troubleshooting, developing experience in embedded Linux

?GNU tool chain, gcc, gdb.

?Bootloader uBoot/ONIE knowledge is a plus

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of experience.
