Job Responsibilities:

* Develop and provide challenging yet appropriate assignments, evaluates work, communicate progress toward career development and goals.

* Provides solution direction to engineers dedicated to designing, developing complex engineering processes or products and driving work plans.

* Prioritize team assignments and manage engineers to work on varied tasks.

* Grow team’s productivity, capability, and core competency.

* Participate in long-range planning and is involved in the development of operational goals, as well as engineering specifications.

* Participate in the modification, development and implementation of company practices and policies that affect subordinate employees.

* Proactively improves and adopts new best practices.

* Manage a best-of-class engineering team to provide innovative solutions.

* Interface with customer to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs.

Job Main Requirements:

* BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or closely related field, plus at least 8, 6, or 4 years relevant experience, depending on degree.

* 3~5 years’ experience of people management, or relevant team leading / coordination experience.

* Excellent communication skill / experience in the global diverse team.

* Must have a software engineering background, application development skills preferred.

* Understanding of business environment.

* Sense of urgency and customer presence.

* Conflict resolution skills.

* Proficient in technical illustration.

* OSS background is a plus.
