Position purpose:

As Site Head, the position is responsible for all aspects of site operations (including the planning of site progress) and development, the profitability of operations and the adherence to the agreed construction and cost plans. He/ she is responsible for a cost effective and compliant production of AH products and the timely supply of these products for China and other Region International countries. He/ she is heading the site management team and is as well the ultimate decision-maker for all activities at the site.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position :

Effective team builder (manage approx. 100 employees)  and strong collaborator in the interaction with Marketing & Sales, Regulatory and regional and global functions. Ensures overall responsibility for site operation and performance – legal compliance and competitive (safety, optimized cost, high quality, on time delivery) production and supply of products manufactured on site. Supervisor for all the site functions such as Production, Health Safety & Environment , Quality Management, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Personnel planning, staffing, organization and management. Site security, Site infrastructure according to the requirement by Elanco Group, ensure the Information system operating smoothly, facilitate the information security corresponding websites running smoothly.

Qualifications :

The position requires several years of job experience in pharmaceutical

plant management or engineering and management experience in leading groups/departments. The holder of the position needs a thorough knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance , as well as technical expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, materials management and quality assurance. Excellent management, communication and organization skills are also required. As senior leader the person is able to guarantee the motivation and retention of  the existing staff  (difficult recruitment environment). The position needs the ability to quickly evaluate situations and take direct, appropriate action to resolve issues.
