Software Engineer

Location: Hangzhou

General Profile: Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression. Typically has knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Develops code for software projects.  

2.     Designs and implements bug fixes.

3.     Designs general software projects.

4.     Performs software tests on code and enhancements.

5.     Develops software documentation.

6.     Troubleshoots software problems of limited difficulty.

7.     Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis.

8.     Compiles data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analysis and statements.

Key Requirements

1.     Master/PhD Degree of computer science and technology, or other relevant major.

2.     Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline 

3.     Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience 

4.     No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for developing technical contribution

5.     Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments

6.     Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and

7.     Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding
