You will be responsible to buy material according to Maximum Retail Price & follow purchase order on time delivery, keep SAP and supporting systems data reliable, fully support production and ensure material availability, act as window of production and supplier to keep information well sharing.

This is a Material Purchaser role, reporting to Material Planner in Business Area – Motion, System Drives located in Beijing, China.

- Collaboration with Production
- PR convert PO in time according to MPR
- Tracing PO status( past due; no confirmed; transport information)
- Pull-in or pull out PO accordingly MRP ，in order to improve ITO and avoid material shortage
- Watch for fluctuations in Raw materials forecast
- Quick response production urgent requirement and push supplier fast delivery, service to sales order OTD
- Good communicate with planner to improve PR reliability
- Give suggestion about materials management method and safety stock level to planner to improve material availability
- Actively cooperate with production dept. to the implement ECN and NCM
- Supplier management
- Send forecast or remind supplier to get forecast from ASCC
- Setting buffer agreement in HERMES and update it timely
- Attend seasonal rating meeting
- Monitor supplier OTD and capacity problem to reduce impact on ABB
- Assist with POs payment issues
- Improve material management
- Optimize purchasing method together with production and logistics（project method to MRP ；MRP method to 2Bin and VMI）
- Optimize purchasing parameter according to SAP analyze data
- VMI &2bin management: material phase in and phase out; stock level update
- Support to R&D and Product Engineering
- Actively cooperate with the implementation of ECN both from PE and R&D to ensure material availability and avoid waste
- Fast order samples for R&D and PE, push delivery and set notification to related people
- Systematic tracking materials of R&D pilot cabinet. Push quotation and PO delivery

- Must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in purchasing management.
- Good communication, speaking fluently in English, strong logical thinking and good teamwork.
- Skilled used of with office software, good at data analysis and report, SAP experience is a plus.
