Position: Project Manager

 

Responsibilities

1. Technical and commercial support of our regional sales teams in project acquisition

-       Working on customer requests for quotation; reviewing and negotiating customer specifications (in coordination with engineering and systems development department, production planning and Global Product Teams)

-       Developing line concepts and preparation of quotations for customers

-       Participation in trade fairs and customer presentations and promotions

2.Management of acquired customer projects until the end of warranty

-       Responsibility for customer projects in regards to cost, timeline and quality

-       Risk management: identification and escalation of critical topics and initiating and tracking counter measures

-       Contact person for customers during entire project

-       Project documentation and reporting

3. Continuous improvement of relevant processes and communication strategies; particularly with reference to the quotation process

4 Active interfaces between Atotech Guangzhou and other regions as well as the Customer; cross-functional communication; coordination with Product Center in other regions

Requirements:

？ Degreed engineer in process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or an comparable subject of study

？ Multi-annual working experience in a comparable function in the the field of chemical plant engineering, ideally from the sector electroplating or plant engineering for cleanroom using

？ Well grounded in project management measures and instruments

？ Self-confident appearance and convincing personality

？ Ability of critical thinking and problem-solving skills 

？ High level of own initiative and assertiveness

？ Strong analytical and conceptual skills

？ High cost and quality awareness

？ Good command of oral and written English
