Purpose of Role:
The Regional Sales Director’s role and focus is to build new and grow existing account relationships to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. You will be required to communicate with customers at an executive and engineering management level and network at industry shows and events. You will work closely with Marketing to identify and develop new leads and opportunities. You will work closely with Technical Sales during pre-sales process and with Engineering and Operations during the execution and delivery of services.
Responsibilities:
- For customers in your region, follow the company’s strategy and goals to develop and grow business in conjunction with the regional technical sales support team and marketing
- Build strategic sales plan for the region adopting the TAS sales process and following targeted markets and business initiatives
- Create and manage 12-month forecast and achieve respective monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and KPI’s
- Work closely with Marketing to manage the communication channel with customers, prospects, and business development partners including foundries and IP vendors
- Ensure contracts, Statements of Work, purchase orders and other customer and Sondrel documentation are correctly processed and recorded
- Work with engineering, operations, and finance to create budgetary and final quotes for your presentation to customers and prospects
- Represent the company as required at trade shows and industry events
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND science qualification
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of successful sales in hi-tech semiconductor related products and/or services
- Proven track record in opening new accounts and closing high value deals.
- Ability to concisely present technical and commercial proposals across all levels of customer and internal management.
- Proven strong negotiation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English is crucial for this role

- Good networker, able to sense opportunity and work within a customer management matrix to pursue and develop it.
- Able to travel on a regular basis to the UK headquarters and internationally.
- Willing to work outside of core hours as the role demands.
- You are required to have a suitable home office set-up including reliable Internet connectivity.
