Job Descriptions:
Financial Controls And Finance Reporting Support / Compliance
1.Provide direct finance support to CDB MCP project team and Finance to ensure related financial information is accurately reported for both Chevron internal (GAAP) and external (joint venture, Concessionaire and Tax) including variance analysis, financial reporting, and accounting policy support. Review CGUG/affiliate work orders/GO-113 to ensure compliance with both CVX policy and in-country contracts/regulations; consistent, standard compliance reviews are critical to ensure economic return (partner/government recoveries/tax deductibility)
2.Support CDB management in the preparation, maintenance and closeout of contracts/POs, AFEs as well as other MCP reports in alignment with the CDB AFE process, Procurement and MCP procedures and other Chevron requirements.
3.This position is point of contact and the candidate should have sound conceptual knowledge of Joint Operating and Production Sharing Agreements as well as remain current on ongoing updates, interpretations, including outstanding audit exceptions.
4.Interfaces with Management in implementing proper work order and work breakdown structure in different CPDEP Phases. CSOC knowledge/awareness would be desired.

GO-113/Work Order System Maintenance/Reconciliation
1.Maintains Ariba database, including set-up, budget realignment and supporting documentation
2.Utilizes SAP inter-company billing (duck/SD billing) systems and JDE accounting data to obtain detail breakdown of "subcontracted" affiliate costs for further joint analysis with Project Control Manager to timely identify over-expended work orders
3.Provide project team management monthly reports on WO/WBS actual spend/budgetG&A spend updates on WO period

NDRC Approval-Government/Partners
1.Assist Project Control Manager to submit to partner and for NDRC's ODP Approval.

1.Exceptionally strong English written and oral communication skills.
2. 5+ working experience in Finance area.
3.Strong project organizational skills and ability to manage multiple critical tasks under tight timelines.
4.Very skilled at working in team environment.
5.Able to handle demanding work environment and available for frequent travel in the region.
