OVERVIEW

Leading American Biomedical Company is looking for high-calibre candidate to aid in bringing in new production lines and sustaining existing ones. Responsibilities include achieving safety, quality and production goals through application of engineering principles and critical thinking. Candidate would have opportunity to work with a multi-national team in creating more growth for an expanding organization.

SCOPE

1. Implement lean manufacturing in support of manufacturing while adhering to safety and quality guidelines. Promote 5S, Kanban, etc.
2. Create and manage a training program for new product lines, implement vigilance scheme to ensure highest standard of workmanship.
3. Correctly diagnose product quality issues in conjunction with the QA team, and remedy corrective measures.
4. Identify and enact potential improvements in design and manufacturing process.
5. Compose and implement validation protocol for First Article Inspection of locally sourced parts.
6. Communicate with overseas team on project status.
7. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering: Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical

3 – 5 years experience, preferably in foreign enterprise

Fluent in both Chinese and English, CET-6, TOEFL or IELTS

Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process FMEA is a must

Experience with medical (respiratory) device and ISO 13485 preferred

Experience with metal forming, plastic moulding or PCBA preferred

Prior experience with designing tooling and fixtures a plus

Knowledge and experience in fluid dynamics a plus

Self-starter and team player who likes to be hands-on

Able to handle multiple projects effectively.
