Senior/Principal Biologist of Assay & Screening (Biochemisry or Biophysics)

Job responsibilities

1、Develop and validate biochemical/biophysical tools to characterize recombinant proteins.

2、 Biochemical and biophysical characterization of small molecules in functional and binding assays, selection of DNA encoded library against different drug targets.

3、Actively participate in the project team and collaborate extensively to deliver hit in a timely manner.

4、Review and provide expert scientific input into project regarding DNA encoded library selection design.

5、 Prepare SOPs, write assay and test report, present project summary.

6、 Ensure work is conducted in accordance with project design.

7、 Lead the team and provide innovative insight into the team.

Qualifications

1、Doctorate degree with working experience in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, cell biology, pharmaceutical science or other related fields.

2、 Strong background in cellular and molecular biology is required, extensive hands-on experience in biochemical and biophysical assay (ELISA, HTRF, FP, SPR, TSA, etc.), molecular cloning, PCR/qPCR, SDS-PAGE, cell culture, transfection and cell assay is preferred.

3、Previous experience in high throughput screening, small molecule screening, covalent inhibitor screening, phage display, SELEX or other assay approaches relevant to drug discovery is preferred.

4、Excellent trouble-shooting, multitasking and interpersonal skills.

5、Able to provide technical and scientific guidance to other colleagues.

6、Able to rapidly learn new techniques, capable of independent and innovative scientific thinking,

7、 Excellent oral and written skills in English.
