The Web Developer will be part of the core team to implement web analytics technologies. As part of the growing team, you will build, test, and launch a search recommendation engine on web and mobile technologies. An ideal candidate is a motivated individual, a team player and has a willingness to learn. The candidate thrives in a fast paced environment, is passionate about search and movies. The successful candidate has 1 to 3 years of enterprise software and web development experience.



Responsibilities:


- Develop enterprise class websites and mobile applications in java, jsp.

- Implement enhancements and provide on-going support of web, mobile web and API

- Ability to compile and analyze search data, metrics and optimize campaigns

- Implementing search engine optimization (SEO) techniques with Search Campaigns including link development and keyword research.

- Optimize landing pages for search engine quality score

- Monitor, on an on-going basis SEO results to ensure continued high page rankings.

- Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates.

- Work closely with teams to ensure technology is implemented successfully and optimally

-Ensure all projects are well scoped, and are delivered on-time with a high level of consumer satisfaction




Education and experience:


- Possess an Engineering, Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience

-Experience building web application with Java, Ajax, Spring, Weblogic etc.

- Experience with Page Load Optimization and use of tools like Google Page Speed and YSlow

- Experience with Performance Tuning of Websites

- Experience with creating Site Maps using the protocol and monitoring in Google, Bing and Yahoo

- Experience in SEO implementation

- Experience with Cognos or BIRT or Jasper would be a strong asset.

-Experience with multi-tier client/server application architectures and APIs

- Web and Mobile web development experience with Java

-Some experience with HTML 5.0

- Oracle, SQL Server development experience

-Experience with Omniture, Google Analytics and Comscore

-Quality Assurance experience

-Ability to work independently on multiple projects with strict deadlines while contributing new ideas in a fast-paced environment

- HTML 5.0, Java, LINQ, AJAX, jQuery, Webservices, json

-Google Site Search, SEO, Keyword research, Page Ranking, Page Optimization, Page Speed, Web Analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics, Comscore)

-Must be detail-oriented and well organized

-Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical detail to non-technical team members

- Strong work ethic with a passion for quality and customer service
