RESPONSIBILITIES:

    

•  Understand MRP logic, release PO to ensure adequate safety stock level.  Maintain shortage report daily and heads up to supervisor if there are any abnormal scenarios.
• Ensure continuity of supply as well as minimize excess inventory.
• Manage, mitigate and report aged inventory to supervisor and external customers timely.
• Collaborate with customer and suppliers to minimize costs of material introductions (new supplier or new part or both) and phase-outs. Includes management of aged parts, excess and obsolescence.
• Prepare for and support supervisor to drive regular business and performance reviews with suppliers. Score for suppliers monthly and provide root reason when supplier didn’t meet SLA (service level agreement).
• Coordinates cross functional teams to address issues and/or drive process improvements.
• Provide regular & timely feedback, including monthly performance reviews, weekly aged inventory review, weekly report, daily issue feedback, fast response to internal & external customers.
• Active participation in initiatives designed to positively affect overall business performance.
• Understand compliance and execute to job requirements.
• Other work  assigned by supervisor

                                        

    

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    

    

• Minimum a Bachelor degree or above
• At least two years of experience in production / inventory planning or purchasing function.
• Oracle experience preferred.
• Good analytical skills with statistical knowledge.
• PC literate with good skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skill
• Ability to work effectively with minimal management direction.
• Adapt to changes & Fast learning ability 
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible
