Job Description:

In this position, you will be involved in 5G Cloud RAN (O-RAN) Near-RT RIC platform architect and software design. The Near-RT RIC platform targets to build a more open, de-coupled radio access network, and bring ML based network intelligence into radio resource management for better network efficiency and performance. We’ll collaborate with global top network operators in this cut-edge area and bring innovative solutions in telecom industry.

For Senior Software Developer

• Participate in requirement analysis and implementation based on O-RAN WG3 specification. Alignment on interface and protocol definition (E2/O1/A1, etc).
• Technique prototyping and demonstration, implement business use case for network improvement: traffic-steering, QoE optimization and QoS based resource optimization.
• Responsible for platform infrastructure for Near-RT RIC development, validation and release
• Participate in all stages of software development lifecycle (e.g. requirements definition, research, validation, post-release support activities, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree, in computer science/telecommunication with 3+ years’ experience in relevant industry.
• Solid programming skill and familiar with C/C++ or Python/Go scripting language
• Good knowledge and practical experience in OpenAPI design, messaging infrastructure (nanomsg, zeroMQ,etc) architecting for high performing and high available system.
• od knowledge of BDaaS, to build scalable and reliable database solution
• Understanding of LTE/5G protocol stack; wireless communication knowledge and RRM is a plus.
• A deep understanding of software development, working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team with a track record of shipping software on time.
• Faster learning ability, and strong problem-solving skills and self-driving working attitude.

• Organize and play the key role in all stages of software development lifecycle (e.g. requirements definition, research, validation, post-release support activities, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree, in computer science/telecommunication with 5+ years’ experience in relevant industry.

• Knowledge of microservice and practical experience is a plus.
• A deep understanding of software development, working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team with a track record of shipping software on time.
• Faster learning ability, and strong problem-solving skills; Curiosity and vision - having a passion for technology and can think critically about performance, scalability, and reliability of software; Comfortable working without micro-management of day-to-day tasks
