GMPO Commodity Manager - Computer Peripherals
Work Location: Shenzhen

Job Description:
Coordinates procurement and planning activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to assure supply line health in a cost effective and timely manner. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Develops new supply sources, monitor cost, schedule and sub-supply chain capability to assure best quality at best value. Recommends cost saving proposals, design for cost savings, alternative sourcing and supplier evaluation. Responsible for supplier management of global Intel supply chain.

Qualification:
Need strength and expertise in project management, material and supplier management in order to develop and manage strategic and tactical activities to assure collaborative and win-win solutions for Intel at all phases of the product life cycle that will enable the delivery of advance technology materials, while working with internal partners and the supply base to drive innovation for cost effective solutions for high volume manufacturing. You will need to prioritize, manage and identify concrete deliverables in a very fluid environment; and balance tactical demands while maintaining a strategic vision that will require you to make informed risk decisions quickly.
Knowledge and previous experiences with GMPO Materials, suppliers, technology, manufacturing, and direct work experiences with Mobile products highly desirable.

Your scope will include:
- Leadership role in the development and supply chain initiatives for Keyboards, Touch pads, Solid State Devices, Optical Disk Drives and thermal devices.
-Developing, implementing and driving strategic engagement strategies
-Performing global market intelligence gathering and benchmarking analysis
-Developing and managing effective and synergistic supplier relationships throughout the supply chain.
-Managing cost and availability requirements for global Intel
-Mentoring and leading partner organizations and technical counterparts in business and commercial strategies and as needed, tactical, planning and execution.
